Therapy World LLC is looking for a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Rock Hill, SC. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques, adaptive equipment, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Participate in discharge planning and community reintegration efforts
Requirements:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT licensure in the state of South Carolina (or eligibility to obtain)
- NBCOT certification required or in process
- Previous clinical experience in a relevant care setting preferred
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and care teams
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to therapy and care delivery
